- What is an online estate agent?
- An online estate agent handles the time-consuming parts of the sale digitally – enquiry, contract, power of attorney, documents and communication. Unlike pure online portals, valuation, viewings, negotiation and notary support remain in the hands of one fixed, personal agent. You save time and travel without giving up personal support.
- Is a digital signature valid for the brokerage agreement?
- Yes. The brokerage agreement and the power of attorney for obtaining documents can be signed digitally with full legal effect. Important: in Germany the actual property purchase contract must be notarised – no online process replaces that. We prepare the notary appointment and accompany you there.
- Do I have to upload my documents myself?
- No. Uploads are entirely optional. If you are missing the land register extract, declaration of division, energy certificate or owners’ association minutes, we obtain them with your power of attorney from the land registry, authorities and property management.
- Will I get a fixed contact person?
- Yes. Despite the digital start, a fixed Berlin agent looks after you personally – reachable by WhatsApp, phone and email. We handle viewings, negotiations and the notary appointment for you on site.
- What does selling through an online agent cost?
- Our fee is due only on success, is agreed transparently in advance and is split between seller and buyer in line with legal requirements. The valuation and first conversation are free of charge.
